Mcedit says it cant download minecraft

MCedit is the easiest/quickest way to go. It's not a plugin, it's a program you download and run. Go here and download it. 64 bit preferably if you are on Windows. I'm bored and have nothing better to do at 4 AM so I'll make a little tutorial. Hmm. That didn't go very well, lol. Apparently MCedit has updated significantly since I've last used it. Mcedit is unable to see bltadwin.ruaft file; so in other words it doesn't see Minecraft. I've done some research and see the install folder: C:\Users\david\AppData\Local\Packages\bltadwin.ruaftUWP_8wekyb3d8bbwe. However this folder doesn't appear to have bltadwin.ruaft file. It just stops in the middle of the process. Like it never says Done. If I type any valid command in the console. It will say " [INFO] I'm sorry, Dave, but I cannot let you do that." I try to join the server through the ip, to see if I could access the commands through the game. But I cant even join. Nor can anybody else.

The filter showed up. I made an absolutely massive selection and made it a desert. It worked as usual, but when it finished and the chunks were rendering, MCedit closed and nothing changed. "1 unsaved edit" didn't show up before it crashed, while it should. I think this is an unstable version so it can't handle large selections?. Try another version of MCEdit. Maybe MCEdit couldn't locate the Minecraft folder which is why it said you need to download Minecraft. LaChal commented on . @beachguycasey31 w'eve reworked the code responsible for the players information and skin dowload. It may not be faster, but MCEdit will load worlds faster. The player information in the Player panel is updated when the connection for this player is closed.
